Student Voice Looks to Transform Local Schools on National Tour

Student Voice is re-launching its Tour Across America's Schools to bring the student voice movement nationwide.

Press Release
August 6, 2019

In August, September and October of 2019, Student Voice will be relaunching the Tour Across America’s Schools program. As the academic year begins, Student Voice team members will be visiting a diverse range of schools across the country to expand the student voice movement to new, previously unactivated communities.

During a school visit, Student Voice collaborates with students, teachers and administrators to discuss the issues that are most important to students and works to build the platform students need to improve their schools and communities. Through workshops, roundtables and storytelling sessions, Student Voice aims to help school communities identify student-centric solutions and inspire action through the formation of a Student Voice Chapter. Through August of 2019, Student Voice has engaged with 2,000+ students across 38 cities and 17 states and amplified their educational experiences through the lens of the Student Bill of Rights.

High school students, teachers and administrators interested in scheduling a Tour Across America’s Schools stop should request a visit at StuVoice.org/tour by Friday, August 23rd, 2019.
